There is as chance that the rolls can go badly and create a hunter who's both Grim and an Idealist, which makes them immune to both Lores, but that's only happened to me once in many, many attempts. If a hunter is neither of those things, showing them that lore will give them one of those qualities, though you don't know which one (sometimes showing a virginal hunter Winter stuff will make them an Idealist, for example). The stronger the lore, the better the chance it has of working. If a hunter is Grim, showing them depressing Winter lore has a high chance to push them over the edge and turn them into a Lunatic ditto for if they're an Idealist and you show them Lantern lore. ![]()
